This fabulous leather half check dog collar can be customised to exactly how you want it to look.
First, choose your leather colour, the options available can be viewed from the images above. Next, choose what colour Swarovski crystals you'd like the half check collar to be decorated with. We have two sizes of crystals available, small and large. There are a veritable rainbow of colours available, and each will be securely riveted into place on the dog collar by hand.
Once you're happy with your colour choices, then it's time to decide on the width and size of the collar. This leather dog collar is available in 3/4" and 1" widths, but can be made in any length. If we don't have the correct size in the drop down menu, then don't hesitate to contact us and we can make the collar to your exact requirements.

Finally, decide on whether or not you'd like a matching lead to compliment your collar. If you decide to have a lead with matching crystals, we'll rivet them into place at the bottom of the lead next to the clip. Alternatively we can make a plain leather lead in a matching colour.
All of our collars, leads and harnesses are made to order, and are normally sent out within five working days of ordering, but occasionally at busy periods they may take slightly longer.

| Fitting Guide | To correctly fit a half check collar take a tape measure around the dogs neck where you would like the collar to sit. Make sure that the tape measure is quite snug around the neck and make a note of the measurement. Select the neck size from the drop down menu, we'll then make the collar accordingly. If the neck size was 14", then we'll make the collar so that the leather and the two rings on either side of the collar will measure approx 13". This would then give about an inch of chain when tight, so the dog will be unable to back out of the collar, but will still be nice and comfy when loose. It is important to make sure that the collar is not permanently tight around the dogs neck. The purpose of the collar is to allow you to check the dog, then release. This way there will be no discomfort for the dog, but it will quickly learn where the heel position is. |
