Alternating colours of small and medium Swarovski crystals make up this handmade leather half check dog collar.
Choose your leather colour from the drop down menu above, the choices available can be viewed on our colour options page. Then choose the crystal colours which you'd like to be hand riveted to your collar.
We line the collar with a soft pigskin leather in either black or brown, we'll use the most appropriate colour according to your choice of collar colour. This lining will make the collar nice and comfy around the neck of your dog.
Next pick the width of the strap and the size for your collar. The Little & Large collar can be made in 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1", and for any size of neck. If you're unsure of which size would be best for your dog, then click on the "additional information" tab above for a quick guide on how to measure the neck correctly.
Next decide whether you'd like to compliment your designer dog collar with a designer dog lead! We can make the lead with the same pattern of Swarovski crystals as the collar, we'll rivet them in place at the base of the lead next to the clip, or if you'd prefer, we can make a plain leather lead in the same colour as your half check collar. The leads are lined with the same soft lining leather that we use in the collars.
Your P'etiquette collar and lead will be made to order by hand, and will normally be sent out within five working days. It can sometimes take slightly longer than this in busy periods.

| Fitting Guide | To correctly fit a half check collar take a tape measure around the dogs neck where you would like the collar to sit. Make sure that the tape measure is quite snug around the neck and make a note of the measurement. Select the neck size from the drop down menu, we'll then make the collar accordingly. If the neck size was 14", then we'll make the collar so that the leather and the two rings on either side of the collar will measure approx 13". This would then give about an inch of chain when tight, so the dog will be unable to back out of the collar, but will still be nice and comfy when loose. It is important to make sure that the collar is not permanently tight around the dogs neck. The purpose of the collar is to allow you to check the dog, then release. This way there will be no discomfort for the dog, but it will quickly learn where the heel position is. |
